SkyBay/ What’s new

What’s new

A running log of what shipped, newest first. SkyBay is a closed beta improving every week; this is where that shows up.

September 24, 2026

SkyBay has a Discord

  • SkyBay now has an official Discord server, for help, bug reports, feature suggestions and every update as it ships. The short link is sky-bay.com/discord.
  • Every link to our Discord in the app, including Upgrade to Founder when your free messages run out, used to lead to an invite that did not exist. They all open the real server now.
  • If signing in fails, the sign-in page now says why: this Discord account is not on the beta list yet, your beta access has ended, or Discord did not finish the sign-in. Before, it quietly sent you back to the same button.
  • SkyBay is still invite-only during the beta. To ask for access, open a post in the Discord's #help with the beta-access tag and your Minecraft username. New tester accounts now last 14 days instead of 7.
  • The sign-in page explains why SkyBay uses Discord and what it can and cannot see, with answers to "Is it safe?" and "Why Discord?".
  • Support email is now support@sky-bay.com.
  • This What's new page no longer needs you to be signed in, so a link to it can be shared anywhere.

Networth that counts everything, and your gear in the sidebar

  • Networth now includes your Farming Toolkit and the equipment sets saved in your Loadouts. Neither was counted before. On a test profile that added about 8 percent, so your networth chart will show a one-time step up on the day this shipped: it is the missing items arriving, not a sudden gain.
  • Fixed: Hypixel moved the Wardrobe into its new Loadouts system, and the app kept reading the old place, which came back empty. For a while the coach could not see the armor sets you keep in your Wardrobe, and in one reported case it recommended upgrading a set the player had already replaced with something better. It reads Loadouts now.
  • The sidebar shows what you are wearing: all four armor pieces and all four equipment slots, named in their rarity colour. Hover one for reforge, stars, enchants and gemstones.
  • More stats has been rebuilt. SkyBlock level, your active pet and Fairy Souls out of 289 always show, then three stats picked from what you actually play, from Museum and Attribute Shards to Garden plots and Kuudra runs. The sidebar also remembers which sections you collapsed.
  • The coach now uses 289 as the Fairy Soul total everywhere. Part of it still said 267, so it could tell you that you were missing the wrong number.
  • Goals: goals with no progress over the last two weeks are grouped under Not moving lately, with the note said once instead of repeated on every card, and the goals that are moving come first.
  • Progress reports: the date range now reads like "Sep 10, 2026" in every browser, instead of following your browser's language.
  • The coach caught up on patch 0.27.1 and the September 17 changes. For example, the Challenging Rod now costs 8 Rusty Coins, not 16.

A faster coach that knows what you are worth

  • The coach's answer now appears as it is written, instead of all at once at the end. Loading a profile also got faster, from about 2.1 seconds to about 0.9 on a repeat visit.
  • Fixed: the coach only ever knew the coins in your purse, not your networth. It told a player holding 3.46B in items that they were 4.1M short of an 18.9M Gemstone Gauntlet. It now weighs purchases against what you could actually raise.
  • Goals: a coins goal now says which single Bazaar flip would fund it and how many cycles that takes, sized to the coins you can actually spend.
  • Progress reports: pick a calendar month, or any date range, and compare every month side by side. A month that is not fully recorded is marked partial.
  • Progress reports can keep your history filled in while you are away, if you tick Keep my history updated while I am away. It is off unless you turn it on.
  • Every dropdown in the app now matches the site. On Windows the profile switcher's list could come back white on white, which made your other profiles unreadable.
  • If an answer breaks off halfway, it no longer counts against your free messages.

The Flip Finder calls items by their real names

  • Every item in both flip lists was named by title-casing its internal id, which is right often enough to look fine and wrong often enough to be embarrassing. Measured on a live list: 41 of the 80 visible rows had the wrong name.
  • Some were merely awkward, like "Shard Honeybuzz" for a Honeybuzz Shard or "Sword Of Revelations" with a capital Of. Others named a different item entirely: "Stone Blade" is an Adaptive Blade, "Melon Leggings" is Tater Leggings, "Theoretical Hoe" is a Mathematical Hoe Blueprint, and "Farming 2 Travel Scroll" is a Travel Scroll to Mushroom Island.
  • Auction House rows now use the name carried on the listing itself, which is what the game shows. Bazaar rows, which have no listing to read, go through a chain: the hand-written names this app already kept, then Hypixel's own item list, then the shard and essence naming patterns, then the old title-cased id as a last resort.
  • Attribute Shards were the biggest single group: 321 Bazaar products that Hypixel's item list does not cover at all, every one of them displayed backwards.
September 15, 2026

See where your own listings sit

  • New in the Flip Finder: My listings. Everything you have up for sale on the Auction House, with where each one sits among the other bare copies of the same item, and what you are leaving on the table.
  • Being the cheapest is what sells. Being far cheaper than the next listing just gives the difference away, because one coin under is enough to hold first place. Each row says what relisting at that price would add.
  • The numbers are what you actually collect. Collection tax comes off, the listing fee does not, because you already paid it when you created the listing; and where relisting is suggested, a second creation fee is taken out of the gain, since cancelling does not refund the first one.
  • If Derpy is mayor the collection tax is four times its usual rate, and the figures say so and use it.
  • A listing with upgrades on it, or a stack, says "no comparable book" instead of a position. The bare listings of the same item are not its market, and a confident wrong comparison is worse than none.
September 14, 2026

The Flip Finder knows how many coins you have

  • Every Bazaar flip is now sized against your purse and bank. Instead of "2.4% margin", a row reads "109,200 units, 66.69M". A percentage has no size, which is why the old list could rank a 90K profit on a cheap cosmetic above a play worth tens of millions.
  • Sizes are capped at 5 percent of an item's weekly volume, and the row says when the cap and not your wallet is the limit. An order for a third of everything that trades in a week does not fill, it just sits there, and multiplying the margin by a number that big invents a profit nobody could collect.
  • You can now rank by what you would actually make rather than by margin percentage, and hide everything you cannot afford. Auction House rows you cannot buy are marked and pushed down the list.
  • Each Bazaar row says what your order is as a share of a day's trade. Deliberately a share and not "fills in about four hours": nobody can see how many orders are queued ahead of yours, so an hour figure would be a guess wearing a number's clothes. A few percent of a day is a size the market swallows; a third of a day is an order that sits.
  • Anything that was not on the list the last time you opened the tab is marked new, so you can tell a fresh opportunity from one that has been sitting there all afternoon. Kept in your browser, so it is per device and the first visit marks nothing.
  • Ask the coach about the list: it opens a fresh chat carrying the top five plays already sized to your coins, and asks which are actually worth doing.
  • Fixed, and this one was giving bad advice: Auction House flips compared listings that were not the same item. Two listings share an item id while differing by enchantments, reforge, stars, gemstones, a recombobulator, or the winning bid on a Midas weapon, so the "margin" between the cheapest and second-cheapest was often just the upgrades on the dearer one. It offered a Starred Midas Staff at 110M to relist at 282.8M, a 148 percent margin that did not exist. Only bare copies with no modifiers are compared now, and items that are always sold modified drop off the list rather than being guessed at.
  • The catch that made it hard to spot: for a genuinely interchangeable item, the cheapest and second-cheapest sit close together, so a wide gap was evidence the two listings were different items. Ranking by margin percentage put exactly those at the top.
  • An Auction House item now needs four bare listings up, not three. Measured against the live market, three was letting through things like a Frog Barn Skin at 400M to relist at 899M, a 499M opportunity resting on a market of exactly three listings. That drops about one in seven candidates.
  • Hover the relist price to see the cheapest listings the item actually has up, so you can judge the shape of the market yourself instead of taking two numbers on trust.
  • Every Auction House row now has a Command button. It copies /viewauction with the listing's id, so you paste it in chat and that exact auction opens, instead of hunting for the seller in the in-game browser. It needs an active Booster Cookie, same as /ah; without one the Auction House still has to be visited at the Village.
  • Stacked listings are out of the Auction House list. Sellers price a bundle whole, so dividing by the stack size invents a per-unit price that is not comparable to anything: five Chiseled Quartz Block listings read 64 for 100M, 32 for 100M, then singles at 5M, 6M and 7M. Treating those as the cheapest offers proposed buying 64 blocks for 100M and relisting them for 200M, which is not the trade the row described. A bundle and a single are not the same product.

Networth Breakdown says what you can actually spend

  • The total now splits three ways: coins you can spend this second, items you would have to sell first, and the soulbound part you can never sell at all. Museum donations land in that last bucket, because donating an item binds it.
  • New card: how much sellable value is sitting in your storage pages, ender chest and personal vault. Nothing in it is equipped, in your accessory bag or in a wardrobe slot, so it is the part of your networth doing nothing for you.
  • Open any of your most valuable items to see what its price is actually made of. The bare item, then every upgrade on top of it priced separately: enchantments, Master Stars, gemstones, the recombobulator, hot potato books. Most players have never seen which half of a 3B helmet they paid for.
  • Every item now says which inventory it was found in.
  • New card: stats you already paid for and never collected. Gemstone slots you unlocked and left empty, and pieces carrying no reforge, across the gear you wear and the sets in your wardrobe. Two checks only, both read straight off your profile rather than guessed. There is deliberately no "you are missing a recombobulator" line, because not every item can take one and nothing in the profile says which.
  • The tab now tells you how concentrated your wealth is. What share of your networth your single most valuable item is, and what the top five come to together.
  • New button: Ask the coach. It opens a fresh chat carrying the actual figures you are looking at, so you get an answer about your breakdown instead of having to retype it.
  • The tab now records your networth composition once a day, so it can start telling you what moved: which items you held on both days gained or lost value, and by how much. It needs two separate days to say anything, so the first comparison shows up on your next visit.
  • Fixed: the By category bars never added up to 100 percent. Coins in the purse and bank are part of your networth but had no row of their own, so on a profile with a full bank a visible chunk of the total was missing from the chart with nothing explaining the gap.

Every shard, every Essence Shop, and 108 more steps

  • The Progression Tree went from 122 steps to 230, across fifteen lanes. Two of them are new: Hunting and Fishing.
  • Attribute Shards are counted properly: all 320, how many you have syphoned, how many are fully maxed, and the rarest ones you are still missing by name. Hypixel publishes no shard list at all, so the total had to be built from the data SkyCrypt uses and checked against live profiles before we would show it to you.
  • Slayers are drawn one node per boss tier. Revenant Horror I through V, Tarantula I through V, Sven I through IV and the rest, with the real interlocks as links you can follow: Spider Slayer does not open at "Zombie Slayer", it opens at a single Revenant Tier II kill.
  • The Catacombs lane is built on the level instead of the floor. Clearing Floor 4 does not get you Floor 5, the Catacombs XP from clearing Floor 4 does. The level is the spine now and each floor hangs off the one that opens it. Master Mode works the same way, 26 through 36.
  • All eleven Essence Shops, each in the lane it pays for. The two dungeon shops are broken out perk by perk, so Boss Luck, Looting and the free Revive Stone are separate steps instead of one number. The Forest shop sits in Foraging with a link from the Rift, because its +20 Foraging Fortune perk is sold by an NPC who only exists in there.
  • The Bank ladder, and with it the point of the Museum: four of the six bank tiers are gated on Museum Milestones, and The Hex is in there too.
  • The Composter, all five upgrade tracks at twenty five tiers each.
  • Crop Milestones for all thirteen crops, running alongside the Crop Upgrades that were already there. Melon alone is 100,967,100 crops harvested on the Garden for a full set.
  • The Heart of the Forest perks have prices now. Sweep, Foraging Fortune, Hunter’s Luck and the rest, each with the Whispers it costs to take it to 50.
  • Every "you are short" line reads as a fraction. "Combat 20/60" instead of "Combat 60, you are 20", which a tester read as backwards. He was right.
  • Also new: Trophy Fishing has its own lane, the Starlyn Contest, the Heart of the Mountain powder targets (12.8M Mithril, 32.5M Gemstone and 37.5M Glacite to max the tree), Class Average 50, and Every Floor Cleared.
  • Fixed: Forest Whispers always showed zero. The app was reading two fields that are not in the payload, so no amount of Foraging ever moved the number, and Desert Whispers were not read at all.
  • Fixed: steps you had already finished could show as locked. If Hypixel could not return one thing, everything after it went grey, so a player with the Museum API switched off saw five bank upgrades and The Hex locked while sitting on a billion coins. A step now trusts its own evidence, and a prerequisite that could not be read no longer blocks anything behind it.
  • Runecrafting and Social are out of the tree. Nothing in the graph waits on either, so they were two dead ends a completionist felt obliged to grind. Both are still on your profile.

The Progression Tree keeps score of your week

  • New row on the Progression Tree: Cleared 7d, holding every step you finished in the last week. It is recorded by this browser from the last time you had the tab open, so it starts empty and fills as you play.
  • Open now and Closest each show how many steps are behind them. The rows scroll, and with no scrollbar on most desktops there was no way to tell that five visible chips were really five of thirty-eight.
  • Closest is no longer cut to six. Every step you are short a number on is in there.
  • Fixed: zoomed far out, a step you can do right now and a step you are still short a number on were both a solid gold bar, separated only by opacity. It read as one big field of gold and made Open now look like it was hiding most of the map. Still short is drawn hollow now, the same way the legend has always described it.

Charts you can post, with axes that say something

  • The image a chart exports now carries both axes: the days along the bottom, the value scale up the side. It used to be one big number over an unlabelled line, so a reader could not tell whether the shape covered a week or a year, or whether the climb was 2 percent or 200.
  • The same image now states the peak, the low and the average change per day for the window it covers.
  • Every chart in the Progress tab has its own download button, not just networth. Catacombs XP, powder, a single skill: whichever one you want to show someone.
August 30, 2026

The Progression Tree is now a map

  • The tab draws SkyBlock's unlocks as one connected graph you can pan, zoom and click, instead of six separate ladders. The links between them are visible now: The End gating Enderman Slayer, the Rift gating Vampire Slayer, Combat 22 gating both the Inferno boss and Kuudra.
  • The Catacombs floors were wrong. They claimed there was no level requirement, when every floor needs a Catacombs level on top of clearing the floor below it: 3 for Floor 2, 14 for Floor 5, 24 for Floor 7. Fixed, and the graph now tells you how far short you are on each one.
  • The graph went from 38 steps to 122, across thirteen lanes. New: the SkyBlock Level ladder end to end, from the Community Shop at 3 to the 620 that is every one-time task in the game finished, Fairy Souls, minion slots, every skill's ceiling (including the two that have to be bought open, Farming and Taming), the Revenant and Tarantula Tier V bosses, dungeon class levels, the Crystal Nucleus, HotM Tier 10, the Gold Mine, The Park, Torrhus Canyon, the Rift and its Timecharms, and Vampire Slayer.
  • Every Crop Upgrade is its own step now: thirteen crops, Tier IX each, with the tier you are actually on.
  • The quieter skills got their waypoints too: the Experiments ladder up to the Metaphysical tier, Hunting XXV where a kill first drops its Shard 1% of the time, and Magical Power, which targets the 2,066 the SkyBlock XP system stops counting at.
  • Kuudra's Reputation gates are real checks now, not caveats. Your faction standing was in the API all along, so Hot, Burning, Fiery and Infernal say how far off 1,000 / 3,000 / 7,000 / 12,000 you are.
  • New areas: Trophy Fishing (all eighteen fish, Bronze through Diamond), the Dojo's five Belts, the Rift's 52 Enigma Souls, the Experimentation Table, and a Records lane for the Museum, the Bestiary and the Abiphone's 82 contacts.
  • Fixed: Rift motes and Timecharms were read from fields Hypixel does not use, so every profile came back with zero of both no matter how much Rift it had done. Your motes, your Timecharms and everything gated behind them are correct now.
  • Fixed: Jacob's Contests and the Farming level cap are measured instead of guessed. The tree knows whether you have talked to Jacob, how many crops you hold a GOLD medal in, and how many of Anita's ten cap upgrades you have bought.
  • Runecrafting and Social were missing from the app entirely. They run on their own XP tables, so they now level correctly, and they stay out of your Skill Average the way Hypixel counts it.
  • The Garden is read live for the first time. Your plots (by tier, with the Garden level each tier needs), the Greenhouse, your best Crop Upgrade tier and your unique Visitors served all show real progress. Garden XP is shown as XP: Hypixel does not publish the Garden level, and we would rather say so than guess it.
  • Taming's level cap now lists the exact pets you still owe George instead of just a number.
  • Fixed: the Heart of the Forest has had eight tiers since the Torrhus Canyon patch, and we were still reading it as seven. Tier 8 players were being told the tree was finished.
  • Click any step to see what it takes, why you want it, what it opens up, and which knowledge module the requirement was checked against.

Goal toasts, shareable reports, real usage numbers

  • The Goals tab now tells you the moment a tracked goal is reached instead of only showing it after the fact in the Done list.
  • Progress reports can be shared as an image (Discord, Reddit, wherever), generated straight from your chart.
  • Your account tab now shows your real free-trial usage instead of a placeholder number.
  • This page.
July 2026
