Sign in with Discord and SkyBay asks the Hypixel API which Minecraft account is linked to it. No usernames to type. Then it reads your live SkyBlock profile: skills, slayers, dungeons, HOTM, pets, coins and more.

From there, just ask the coach anything. Every answer is grounded in your actual profile and live Bazaar & Auction House prices, not generic wiki advice.

Two things, both in-game. First, your Discord must be linked on Hypixel: My Profile → Social Media → Discord, then type your Discord tag in chat. That’s how SkyBay finds your Minecraft account.

Second, your Personal API must be ON (SkyBlock Menu → Settings → API Settings) so we can read the profile. If your bank shows “API off”, this is why. Flip it and re-scan.

All of them. One API call fetches every profile on your account; the selector in the top bar switches between them instantly, and the coach’s context follows whichever profile is selected.

SkyBay finds your Minecraft account through the Discord link on your Hypixel profile, so almost every miss is that link. Check that it’s set (My Profile → Social Media → Discord) and that it matches the Discord you signed in with exactly: a different account, an old tag, or a typo all fail. Otherwise the account may never have played SkyBlock yet, or the Hypixel or Mojang API is briefly down; try again in a few minutes.

Every question is sent together with a clean, structured snapshot of your profile, never the raw API dump. It covers skills, slayers, Catacombs floors and classes, HOTM, powder, pets, Magical Power and coins.

Re-scan any time to refresh the snapshot after a play session.

The knowledge base is built from scraped Hypixel wiki data (not the AI’s training memory) to minimize hallucinations, and prices come live from Bazaar and Auction House.

SkyBlock patches frequently, so advice from the last few weeks of a major update can lag. The coach is configured to say “I don’t know” rather than invent an answer.

Your Discord identity (via Supabase Auth), your linked IGN, and your subscription state. Your full Minecraft profile is fetched fresh from the Hypixel API on every visit and is not stored server-side. The one exception is Session Reports: a daily snapshot of a handful of stats (networth, skill/slayer/Catacombs progress, etc.) so we can chart your growth over time. Your chat history is saved to your account so it follows you between devices; deleting a conversation deletes it from the server too.
